Empowered Life Missionaries

Missions are a huge piece of the DNA of Empowered Life. We the church are called to be much more than just attendees on Sunday mornings. Being missionaries is something we are all called to in every aspect of our lives. We at Empowered Life DO have people we choose to support both locally, as well as abroad that help to fulfill the mandate of this house.

Homeless Help

As a community we stock up on socks, toiletries, feminine products as well as other types of clothing and blankets to give care packages away to the homeless.

Blake & Shannon Casteel

The Casteel’s have been a part of YWAM Kona for the last five years.  They have spent the majority of their time training young leaders to lead teams to the nations. Over the course of the last two years, Blake has stepped in to using functional fitness as a means of outreach into the local community and also using it so see young men and women step into integrity, family, humility and fitness.  Blake co-leads a DTS with the primary focus of sending long-term coaches/missionaries into the nations as Cross Fit coaches.  Along with the DTS, Blake is pioneering opportunities for professional cross fit athletes to use their fitness to distribute bibles into the unreached people   in the Himalayas.Shannon is still leading the Awakening leadership program. She also speaks and hosts Brave Love women’s events in the nations.Blake and Shannon have four adorable children.

Ivan & Erica Roman

As a church we always receive so much by sending our senior leaders to the other churches to minister as well as other nations to preach the gospel. As a community we reap the benefit of having a global mindset of what God is doing.
